Is using this technique allowed or is it the same as having images next to your adsense ad's?

Sorry no, I don't want to do it since I'm not sure if its allowed... Anyhow, this is how it would look like:

[VIDEO HERE][ADSENSE HERE]

I know that people before used to have it this way before it got banned by Adsense :

[IMAGE] [ AD ]

 

the image example is ofcourse not allowed, but I have never heard of an example with video being banned. I guess the issue with the image placement is that it might make the adverts look like image titles, and if you purposefully did that with video, ie. had 4 videos one above each advert on a traditional horizontal banner, then that too would be against the TOS.

If it was a well boxed adsense placement that did not visibly look attached to the video it SHOULD be ok, but I cant say anything for google ofcourse..

 

Yeah the image is a no no, Contact google and ask if it's okay for the video in the mean while don't use it.

I don't think the video will cause a problem. It's pictures that cause the problem

 

But to be on the safe side he(or she) should contact google
