I wasnt too sure about what the rules with images are so I came up with this mock up first. The logo is a table with the image set as the background and then the adsense banner is in a cell in the table. You might be able to see that the adsense lines up with a section of the background that has a border round it (and a slight glow) to try and make the ad stand out as seperate and avoid confusion. Would it be allowed does anyone know? Thanks a lot
Or give us the link... But I don't think there is anything wrong with that. Except they've removed the "Ads by Google" which they shouldn't.
I had noticed that it doesn't say 'ads by google' on it either but as far as I can see, the code is correct. The script code that i put in is as follows... <script type="text/javascript"><!-- google_ad_client = "pub-xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx"; google_ad_width = 468; google_ad_height = 60; google_ad_format = "468x60_as"; google_ad_type = "image"; google_ad_channel =""; google_color_border = "006E00"; google_color_bg = "006E00"; google_color_link = "92CF6D"; google_color_text = "92CF6D"; google_color_url = "92CF6D"; //--></script> Code (markup): As you can see, I havent taken anything out to remove the ad's by google bit (i dont think) and if I change the 'image' tag to 'text' then the ads by google bit shows up again. Maybe google are trialling not having the ads by google on images? Anyway, a bigger screenshot is below and below that is from another page on my site and as you can see the 'ads by google' bit shows on that one (the code is in my header so its the same code on both pages). What do you think? Should be ok or not? ps, in case the images didnt load then the addy for them is http://img221.imageshack.us/img221/2046/screenshotbg6.gif and http://img136.imageshack.us/img136/5162/screenshot1iz2.gif Code (markup):
lol, of course thats allowed. The better question is, is my ad placement pretty bad? And the answer is kinda.
