Is this allowed by Google Adsense TOS?

    Hi,

I was browsing the internet for some cool CSS menus and found this one:

    http://www.cssplay.co.uk/menus/final_drop2.html

I like this menu, but I wonder if this is allowed by Google Adsense TOS...
When you hover the demos tab, a menu opens with a part of the menu appearing 'on top' of the google ad.

Anyone know what the deal is with this?

I don't think that's allowed by the TOS. I'm not saying that the site owner would do it, but there is ways that he could get people to click on the ads when they think they're clicking on the bottom link in the menu.

    I wouldn't recommend doing this.

i think it's not allowed because you are not allowed to change any part of the adsense code

    I have my doubts too..
But i really want a drop down menu on top AND a adsense block on top :p
Guess I'll have to put the ad somewhere else than

I think that it is allowed.

What I think that is not allowed is stuff like this:

    http://atspace.com/

that has a pop-up over the ad.

Agreed, there's no way that's allowed. To close the ad I basically have to click a very small "x" that's surrounded on 2 sides by a clickable adsense ad. Has this site been reported yet? Oh hell, I'll do it anyway.

I was going to post a link to google's adsense blog post that clarifies this scenario - but I can't as I'm a noob. ;)

Go to adsense.blogspot and look at entries for May'07
