I was unable to find the answer to this on CJ. One of the links for Jamster is a little flash search form that takes you to their site if you fill in a song and click the submit button. It takes the user to the page/link: http://www.jamster.com/go/search?search=kanye%20west&usage=internal&AID=35222458&PID=1234567 I want to automate the process and create a link that is based on a users search on my site. For example if they search for Kanye West on my site, the search term "Kanye West" will be a variable. Can i just put that variable in a link like: http://www.jamster.com/go/search?search=VARIABLE&usage=internal&AID=35222458&PID=1234567 And the link says something like get Download Kanye West ringtones Is this against CJ or Jamsters terms of use because i am going outside of the searchbox/link code they gave me?
I think you are good. You should read Jamster's policies and not look for what CJ says about this or that. If Jamster says nothing about it, you are ok. I have been with CJ for the last 5 years. They do not really care about stuff like that, as long as the advertiser doesn't care.
You are fine, they made it available for you to generate your affiliate link based on any link on their website using CJ back end http://www.ringtonecanada.ca/top10-ringtones.php Check this page, all the links going directly to the sale page with no problem
