Is this against the adsense TOS?

Hey everyone. I have a site and i have just blended in some ads. Here is a screenshot of it:

As you can see. There are two 250x250 ad blocks on the left side that are stacked on top of each other. I put content and links on the right side of this to blend them in easier. Is it possible to blend an ad in too much?

I got this idea from this website:

    Any help would be good!
    Thanks

I don't think it's against the TOS. I recently asked Google about placing a link and text that looked like AdSense, next to a real AdSense link (my link was not contextual, and was a link to another of my own sites, not an advertiser... though I did not specify that in my inquiry to Google). They said it was ok, so long as it was clearly separated by a border. If anything (though maybe it's nothing), you might have more to worry about the images that are on the right side of the AdSense ads (which related to your own links, but are close enough still to the AdSense ads that they could be considered related). In that case, adding more space, or a border between the two columns, might be fine.

As usual, check with Google yourself though. Send them a sample page or screenshot with your new ads, and make sure they approve.

Are the links on the right hand column paid ads/links? If they are, Google will take issue with them. I know this because Google made me change the text ads I directly sell some time back because they felt my text ads created confusion. It took several tries to make my text ads look different enough from Google AdSense to statisfied Google.

At the very least you might be in a very grey area here. I'd make sure to get an official ruling from Google.

They could claim it too closely mimics the AdSense, which is against the policies. But run it past them, and see what they say.

There's a module on joomla to do the right-side of your second pictures, maybe you are using the modules?? btw, the name says it, google-adsense alike modules, a good trick, but ask them will be your best option.
