Take a look at the image below, at the way the images are placed next to the ads (and pay attention to what the images are of, in relation to the site's/ad's topic (cars)) and tell me if you see something wrong with it. It's from a site called http:// fastcoolcars. com Now you're thinking this is against Adsense TOS, correct? There are no borders between image and ads, and the images are relevant to the ads, thereby deceiving the surfer. Definitely a violation, right? But apparently not. After running across this site, I emailed Adsense and asked if this was allowed (i.e. I snitched on the site without actually snitching ). But a month later, the ads are still on the site. So the question is: Is placing images relevant to the ads next to the ads REALLY against Adsense TOS? Or do they just say so, but doesn't really do anything about it? P.S. I've considered that this site might be a premium publisher, but I've never seen premium publishers use "gimmicks" to get clicks, so I've dismissed this possibility as a result.
I would say and always think that ads next to images is just plain wrong, Most people like to argue, its not wrong because they want the clicks, YET If these same people where paying for the ad campains they sure would think different , if it was there money I think maybe google just hasnt got around to it yet , I mean there are millions of sites break tos on a daily basis , I.e. click fraud , surfing clicks, group click rings etc, Maybe they do that stuff first then work on these next
hm... interested. maybe they planned to have image within the ads already so they don't bother those publisher? well, dunno
They have a white border, no? Which is okay. But I would make the padding-right a little bigger, just to be safe. They do look a little close.
