Is this Affiliate campaign worth it?

Guys I please need your opinions from experience on this one:

I have been running PPC campaigns with daily budgets of about £5 ($9.80) in the baby sector directly to merchant sites from the start of this month and have so far had this following stats:

    • PPC Spend - £59.42 ($117)
    • Clicks : 703
    • Sales : 4
    • Transaction Value : £277.79
    • Commission : £11.11
    • Average Conversion Rate : 0.57%
    • Pending Programmes : 0
    • Pending Transactions : 4
I am of the opinion that visitors have visited other affiliate sites before mine because I am not on the 1st 3 positions but my AdGroups and keywords are very highly targeted to specific product landing pages. They are always regularly optimised and appear on only Google.co.uk search.

    My questions are as follows:

    • Should I hang on and hope that some visits would materialise to sales?
    • Do mothers typically buy products like pushchairs online? or would they rather use the web for research and then purchase from the high street?
    • What if visitors visit the websites of merchants I'm promoting first and then click on my ads? Do I still get commissions? Because there is a high likelihood this is happening
    • Is this sector seasonal ?

All 4 sales occurred within 2 days, so I reckon they were from the same person. I really have this urge to pull out because I'm thinking I'm in the wrong industry.

Please give me your thoughts on this one. Cheers :) ;)
