Generally, it is safer to put pictures further from the links. But they really don't like it when multiple smaller pictures are lined up perfectly with your multiple google links/ads. I'd call this one a grey area. Won't get banned for it.
Worst case scenario, I would say, is that they disabled ads for that site. That could happen. Other than that would be okay. Tiny images lined up next to ads is a massive no-no. Dean
Looks pretty safe to me. The image is not like little small photext ad images. So, this person may get a nasty gram. But it is so gray.
