My blog is: Bad Ass Gamer Blog

I recently updated the template to a more professional look and I will be sticking to this template but want to know what you think of the ad placement on the site, and whether you think I should change anything?

    Thanks in advance...

if u use ads in between your posts, you should write "advertisements", or use bordered ad unit otherwise it will be against google tos.

its better to make one post per page, and large rectangle ads in the top

I like the placement however not too sure on the huge header its very
overpowering to the blog. One tip that I use on my blogs is the smaller
text ads between content lets say you post one blog put an ad right in
the middle of it and not at the end.

More readers will be inclined to click on an ad as they read through and
see an advert that appeals to them and the same content that they
    would be currently reading.

I don't think the big block is good right in the beginning - maybe something a bit shorter.

Honestly those link units never worked for me.

Have you tried using a smaller text unit and wrapping the post aroung the ad unit?

I do like the big blocks but do agree with aaronlamont1 that you might want to "shorten" your header. The top space is your most effective adsense space and if 50% of screen is covered by your header, that's as good as wasting space.

I think you need a better template and don't put more then 3 Banner Ads whether only Google or multiple affiliates. Put only 3 banner ads on the homepage. And your Ad Link Units are fine, you can maybe put more at the bottom. But get yourself a better template.
