is this ad overkill

hi.. I am still new to adsense and as you can tell a little desparate. is this overkill? http://www.thephotodoctors.com/download7.htm

 

I don't think it is overkill: no link to go to the homepage and the download link is actually here on the page, yes look at the bottom
You can bet that the Click Through Rate will be high as the ads are quite relevant.
The only step more I'd try is to move the adlink between Image Switch and Mdibb so as to blend it into the content better.

 

remove the adLink

 

Move the Adlink up to the top as to spread your ads further apart, so they won't look so overwhelming. Plus the CTR you will be better.

BTW why are you "desperate"?

 

if the only things on the page is a download link 1 ad unit would do the trick. If i saw that many ads i would delibratly make sure i clicked download link and not the ads.

one ad unit looks more like a normal site would, plus CTR would go up since there will be less ad views
