DO you mean you will give your site to somebody to do SEO and run PPC ads?

To be frank, it is difficult to understand what you really want.

Are you offering a type of profit share?

Frankly your ad is is really difficult to understand. What is it exactly that you are offering? Write it down in plain English and have always your reader in mind.

People can put ads on the site but as you say they have market the site. But they don't control the site because my ads are on there too. But I need big money to build the site. I think it has potential and is becoming an authority site. So they would be better off to promote my site then some site that would take months to get off the ground. Plus it has a marketable and SEO friendly name.

But if anybody cannot understand then they can contact me. I mentioned that on a new post on the thread.

honestly, if you can't explain something in one sentence or two chances are it's too difficult for people to follow, and people are generally lazy so we/they will close it out before fully understanding your proposition.

It sounds to me like you want people to promote your site and in exchange you give them a place for a banner spot. It sounds okay, but not really that great of an investment option. Why would I send you traffic, you get the money from part of it, yet I do all the work? You have to keep in mind for people to seriously invest, they have to have the signficant upper-hand. Meaning, if they invest, they will want part of your royalties/assets for sure, if not majority ownership.

You want people to come up with the ads and pay for the PPC campaigns, and as you expressed it yourself "I need big money".

Now, if anyone has big money, they are not going to spend it on marketing your site without a very generous return, if at all. In the Internet world, there's no need to pay an overprice to promote something when I can build it myself and within a few months outrank you for a lot cheaper. Your URL address is good, but in no way exceptional, and for someone to fill your site with their ads and then drive traffic themselves - well - just simply aren't going to happen. Don't hold your breath!

But you can keep all the profits from your ad. Isn't that an upper hand in the deal?

Nope, not ready for prime time. But you are right is one respect, the only way you are going to get eyeballs is PPC. Clicks yes, buyers not likely.
Second page of Google is not on my radar...I've got my preference set for 100 serps.

The only way you can get leads is PPC. Very few people buy on the first time.

Yes, it's hard to understand. You need to have that ad re-written.

I guess the part i'm confused on, why would I first of all place an ad on a website that probably gets no traffic now, then, you want me to send traffic your way so that my ad can get seen, then to top it off for my services of promoting your site, i'm paying you.... You see why this doesn't work?

If I needed a website to place an ad on that I was going to promote, I would build it myself and keep 100% of all profit the website ever makes. I certainly wouldn't have a someone in the middle. I don't know what you are asking people to invest, but I could go find a good looking flip-ready site from the BST section or flippa for as little as $50 (one-time) and then boom I'm on my way.

For people to invest you have to have something to seriously offer. It sounds like to me you don't have much more than an idea. Sorry to burst your bubble. :(

I even been to your site jobsinNY.net - it looks like it is under construction or incomplete. You need to put a lot more content on there and fix it up if you want ANYBODY to take it seriously. If I were you, I would use WordPress because it fits the domain and makes it looks like a professional "department of labor" type site. Plus it is easier to update.

Probably it needs more pictures and maybe rounded corners. Perhaps some kind of link buttons.
