Is this acurate?

    Hello,

    This my first post here. Looks like a good forum.
    Ive got a blog hosting website are its only been open about a month. Ive put adverts on the users blogs. At first i just put an etology banner in the header, but now ive decided to put a 468*60 CPM banner in the footer.The CPC header has an average daily impression of 22,000 with an average cpc of $0.02. The CPM banner has 90,000 impressions a day, but still im not even breaking $0.20 a day. does any one have any advice they could offer me about how to improve the rates or if they are average?

    any help would be greatly apprechiated

    To improve the earning of CPM, you need to get more traffic.
    However, to improve the earning from CPC, you can try out different placement, some placement can really boost your CTR, then your average earning will increase

    google analytics says i get around 10,000 uniques a day

    i have tried placement in two places already, but i think you are correct, i just need to try moving a few things around... thanks..:)

    As I see, there are several things here...

    You have a good amounth of visitors, and you should be doing much better than this.

    -You have a low cpc for the header. It looks like most of your audience comes from the countries not supported (covered) by the ad-network, or with given very low cost per click. What's the theme of the blog? How many visitors you get from USA/Canada/Australia if you are targeting them?

    - Even with cpc of 0.02$ you should have achived better results. The click-through ratio seems to be very low, probably below 0.05%. You need to move that banner somewhere else.

    - Number of impressions of CPM banner is good, but many of them are realized by the same visitor and probably not counted by the ad network. It's, again, in connection with the origin of your visitors.

    Its a blog hosting website so the themes the user choose are different. It similar to a blogger type thing.

    Google Analytics says 42.5% are from USA, 11% from UK, 11% from Germany, 5% from France, 5% from Canada.

    In the past few weeks ive had 45,000 absolute uniques and only earned $2.00.
