    Advertising (learn more)

Advertise virtually anything here, with CPM banner ads, CPM email ads and CPC contextual links. You can target relevant areas of the site and show ads based on geographical location of the user if you wish.

Starts at just $1 per CPM or $0.10 per CPC.

Is this aceptable for adsense

Im fairly new to adwords and im wondering if the folowing are fine by the terms:

Having just the title of a page and ads shown unless you scroll down to see the content. I have seen some pages with the title then 3 of the big adsense blocks and then the article. is that fine to do?

    What about this
    http://www.thinkbling.com/tools.php.

As a user I really dont like either, but as a webmaster I kinda feel I would be cheating the system.

I would consider it slightly misleading, but not against Google's TOS.

You actually don't have to scroll to see the content, only the first line is google ads, the rest are links from the site.

It's totally acceptable with Google Terms and a nice idea :) I am also integrated the Google Banners into my design using the appropriate colors.

If I was an adsense rep. I wouldn't allow it, doesn't seem to have any real content.

(Off topic). What is correct: "If I was an adsense rep." or "if I were an adsense rep."?

It looks like it doesn't, but it's there. If you look pretty hard enough, as someone said previously, "brilliant!"

Though it's not against G's TOS (disclaimer: I'm no lawyer), would this be contrued as "tricking" your visitors to click on the ads? Even though your site says "Tools for online usage or download" you will not be completely sure what adsense ads are all about.

I would say, don't dupe your visitors...

There are a lot of useful links on the page. It's no more lacking content then a link or resource page you would find on sites.

Although when I first saw it, i scrolled through them all because I thought they were all google ads.

great idea but very misleading. I wouldn't want to risk my account for a higher CTR on 1 page.

He isn't doing anything wrong, so it isn't risking his account at all. Just because the links are well integrated into his design, you are making the assumption he changed his layout to match the ads. ;)

I wouldn't say it violates any TOS.

In fact, to increase CTR, you might switch the 1st and the 2nd row positions.

That way when people look in the middle of the screen, like is most people's habit to do so, they'll look right at the ads instead of your links.

Your layout is pure genius. Truly a Fantastic job.

    :)
