If you are a regular on DP you'll notice that I always go on about my audio hosting website (Sound Upload) and how to get it more popular. Now I was just wondering as the sites current "tag line" is "Upload and Share Unlimited MP3, WMA, WAV and RA files for free!" do you think it is wise changing to "Free MP3, WMA, WAV, MIDI and RA Host and Download" ?? My current SER's are good as "upload mp3" is 2nd on Google. Pagerank = 4 (SER = Search Engine Result) Your Thoughts?
Yes i second this option although i have never actually tested the effect of changing the Title on a webpage, but if you are taking the word Upload out then it is obviously going to lead to minus points for the upload mp3 phrase i think.
You should not think only about the number of search queries, but also about the competition for them. Free MP3 and Download MP3 are some of the most used and optimized for keywords. Before you engage in a competition that big, are you sure you can sustain your efforts? In my personal opinion it's better to fight for a certain 100 out of 1000 than 0 out of 4.000.000. It depends what does your site offer uploads or downloads?? If you target uploads then you are looking at webmasters and also people on social networking sites like myspace who want to upload their tunes. I think upload mp3 will get way more searches than download mp3, because if you want to download an mp3 you'd search for something like song title mp3 download, genre mp3 download.. whereas for upload mp3, i may actually search for, including mp3 upload (the other way around) and free mp3 upload.

Secondly you should target these keywords for your site 1) Upload mp3 2) download mp3 3) free mp3 upload 4) free mp3 download Also you can use search in google adwords by typing above keywords in it and you will get the exact idea to target the keyword. You need to have good tracking, what are people searching for that find you, what do they look at, and what drives them away. no one here, nor any keyword tool will tell you that. BTW-gratz on pg1 for an mp3 term.
According to Servage's own built in stats say "upload mp3" (5,516), "mp3 upload" (3,022), "sound upload" (609) are the top ones. The number in the brackets are how many searches this month. Thanks
