Hello, I searched around and found out that google does not like the sites that are similar to mine, and I though maybe I could change on what my website is about and after I get good rankings, decent amount of organic traffic all the good stuff, I change it back to what I originally wanted it to be.. will this strategy work or will google eventually get caught up and see what I did, therefore decrease the quality of my site? For example: My site has multiple links which are my referral links for people to join and make money, I get commission. If I change it to just information on how to make money off of offers and surveys without giving the referral links, and when the site is popular I add my links. Thanks.
Google does not like affiliate websites. Will it be smart to create a non affiliate website to get good rankings and change it back to affiliate website afterwards.. I'm not sure how to explain it in other words.
The reason Google doesn't like affiliate sites, it typically because they are door ways or link farms. There is no unique content for its web searchers. Try to base your site around content with some affiliate links.
its better to have a links if its necessary and relevant to your site.. its going to be a link farms if the page is just full of random links..
millhugz, you'll never be able to fool the Big G long-term so I would suggest the strategy of trying to find the happy medium between affiliate site and content-rich website. This is not hard at all to do. If you need any specific suggestions just let me know.
I need a specific suggestion, I re-made the site to make it more content than links, submitted an article recently..
