is this a sneaky redirect?

I have a site that recently received a lot of traffic to a page about a specific type of car. The site is my personal blog (non spam). I am barely making any money with adsense anymore, so i was thinking of new ways to monetize so I put my ebay affiliate link on the images. I wanted to hide my affiliate code, so I used a php file to cloak the link. Will google ding me for this? I am not trying to do anything shady, i just dont want people to find my PID. Thoughts?

General rule of thumb, if you have to ask if it's manipulative then it most likely is. ;)

Now how would they change your affiliate code unless your dedicated server or web hosting provider was insecure. Or, if you were using an insecure script or backend platform.

Sounds borderline affiliate spam to me, just my honest opinion. Promote the subject, not the product.
