    Hi,
5days ago we had downtime problem and then my hoster informed me that he was moving his servers. After he moved, all wordpress blogger faced many problems.
One of that was memory limit which he solved. But still my all friends hosted in same server, facing the same problem which is when ever we are uploading any picture then it is showing this error.
The uploaded file could not be moved to /home/paksfun/public_html/wp-content/uploads/2010/09.

I tried to set 2010 folder at the permission to 667 and then observed but the problem remained same. Then I tried to set it at 755 but still facing same problem. Even I restored my site but still facing. Can anyone help me to tell it weather it is a server problem or I am doing wrong anywhere. Please tell me all steps please.

If its just a memory limit problem ask your host to increase your memory. In most cases they will do it for you

Connect with a ftp client, go to public_html/wp-content/ and make uploads/ folder chmod 777 reccursive.

if you have a backup of the files try this

delete the folder and then recreate it using ftp or a filemanager, see if its picked up then

i know from previous experience that when restoring files/sites from backups a lot of the time files can become corrupted, some files need to be uploaded in a certain way.

it may be a case of downloading your own copy of the backup that your host have, and uploading it yourself via ftp
