Do not use paypal. All you need to do is search paypal in google and you will find paypalsucks.com where hundreds of people that have been scammed go and moan about it.

I don't know if anyone has suggested this yet, but try to exchange phone-numbers before the trade. And do the talking over the phone. Scammer won't give his/her number.. at least for 100 bucks. =P ALso, if he scams you, you can start calling him all the time 'till he gives your money back. :D

Haha and sign him up to loads of free ringtones and backgrouds from random banner ads, sounds fun :p

But seriously the buyer hasn't responded since I offer using MB or him using Escrow and paying fees.

If I am not mistaken, for eg. at Godaddy, there is a 30 or 60 days clause where you can reverse the transfer of domain. So if he reverse with Paypal, you reverse at Godaddy:D

You can always make the deal for website, + all files delivered on dvd. Then you have a tracking number for delivery, and you are now covered by the sellers protection.

If he agrees to this (which he should if he is genuine) you could get the money through paypal, take it out of your account! So transfer it to a bank account (which takes 7-9 days). Once you have the money out of paypal, send him the website information. Then he cant back charge you. Although the buyer might get a bit suspicious then!

Paypal is fine. I use it. Calling a person to death doesn't help cuz he can just change his number. But what if the scam is the other way around. Somebody pays first and then never receives the merchandise.

It seems to have gone fine, I also got his toll free company phone number.

I have received replies from emails @ his company domain. They are verified PayPal with a massive amount of feedback and reputation.

It went smooth, thanks for the advice everyone.
