Is This A Personal Thing?

    Tonight:

    a) One of my threads moved from bst to general chat. Infraction given. I ask why here, you mods pop in and out with blurbs but don't allow me to respond (you close as soon as you throw out your 1 liners).

    b) Another thread of mine deleted from bst. Why? I have absolutely no clue. I was selling an e-book. Isn't that where it belonged?

    c) An infraction given to me for this thread that is over 2 weeks dead, for being in the wrong category. Wth? Where was I supposed to put it??


    Are you mods on a personal campaign against me or something? What gives???

    Are you deciding which e-books are good enough to place in bst, and which ones aren't??

    It seems like you all would be more interested in stopping some of the open scams and thievery going on in here rather than trying to stop someone like me that is trying to warn others.

    Why?? Want me to leave dp? Is that it??

    It's not personal but once you come to our attention it's likely you'll be reviewed. Recently this has led to the user with a phenomenal number of posts being banned. I've never even "met" you on here before today and given that most of my time is spent modding and not hanging out that's a good thing!

    There is not "statute of limitations" which means that we'll still issue infractions on posts much, much older than a fortnight. We do check the dates but a fortnight is nothing with our workload.

    The user "lifeplayer" told you where the thread should be placed but I haven't found a "report" from you requesting it be moved. From that I would conclude that you feld lifeplayer was wrong. The infraction is merely notification that the thread was moved - and maybe it wouldn't have died if it had been in the right place all along.

    So you all actually have time to check all my posts to try to make infractions? Really? Why would you want to do that? I guess that's your business, but I don't get it.

    I have been ripped off a few times here. Thousands and thousands of people have. I decided to make it a little harder on the scammers because it looks like hardly anyone cares really. I mean some of these scams in bst are just ridiculous. So tonight I decided to warn some people about the truth. I created 2 e-books to do so. Was my method creative? I guess. Was it effective? I' say so. I am pretty dang sure that a few less people were ripped off because of it. If more people would speak out in here on the open scams it could be a much better place for sure.

    So why would you all try to stop me? I believe I followed the rules by placing my offers (regardless of how dumb you thought they were) in the right categories. I really don't understand that. Do you test each e-book and make sure that it is to your satisfaction? Does one have to follow a certain format to be acceptable to place something in bst? I sure don't see how I hurt anyone, except those that were trying to cheat others.

    Ok. I'm done. Sorry if I have wasted your time. I'll back off the scammers and let them run around in bst as usual. Thanks for your time, and I apologize if I was rude in any way.

    Hey glenndorsey,

    Don't take it personally. One time i had nine (9!!!) infractions in 3 minutes. Why? Because a report was made and all the shitty posts i had for a long time got a red one. Ah, and only one of those infractions had a name and why the infraction was given. Lucky me it was only 9 of them.

    Anyways, chill out, try to understand where to open threads, and if you get one infraction or another, just move on, nobody is stressing you out. :) Mods have a hard time in here, so be gentle with them and thank them for taking good care of us alright?

    Just my 2 cents.

    Who are you to decide which sellers are "trying to cheat others"?!

    What you are really doing is making false accusations and behaving like a child. I don't appreciate you spamming my BST thread.

    Kind of funny how these little cons can just keep on cheating folks all they want though. Hmmm...

    Sarah--- I just read something you wrote. I don't know if you came back and added it or if I just missed it somehow.

    I see where lifeplayer told me it was in the wrong section. I guess i didn't pay attention to it. I thought, and still do, that trying to buy links in directories belongs there. Ah well...

    I see where you moved my sales thread out of bst and merged it with another in general chat.

    No worries. I won't be kicking up any more dust in here.

    glenndorsey the DP forum has changed a lot since "the good old days" of 4 years ago and I bet it's a right handful to moderate this place now. I was a mod at a well-known forum once and it really can sap your time so I can fully appreciate what the DP mods here have to deal with.

    There's plenty going on here that's really "not my cup of tea" either but I laugh to myself and try to steer clear of the wreckage :)
