    How did these two sites make it into the top ten for 'Life Coach' - is this their honeymoon or does it reveal something else?

    They have only entered the top ten in the past couple of days.

    It probably does because both URL's have a high PR but have no backlinks on the exact URL that I could find. What's worrying is since when has personal websites hosted on ISP free domains carried a PR from the primary URL??

    Or have I missed something here?

    Firstly, they are not subdomains, they are folders within the main domain.

    domain = www.site.com
    subfolders = www.site.com/yourplace

    The above two are treated as part of the domain www.site.com

    sub domain = yourplace.site.com

    The above is a true subdomain, and will be treated as a different domain.


    A while back, Google did start treating pages on free space with respect, I think it was during Florida last year.
