Hey! I was thinking about starting a blog but I'm not 100% sure yet. So I made a survey with only 2 questions and an excerpt of a post in the hope I would be able to see if there are people interested in the topics I want to write about. I am extremely grateful for taking the time to read it and appreciate any advice. Here's the link https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSe3DzJlb8zBks09T-2FpMa6X8fACXKswtxQU2qmTBtIUmcLoA/viewform?usp=sf_link Needless to say, just let me know what I can do in return and I'm on it! Thank you!
I'd actually put the question right back to you - what do you want to get out of blogging? There's the satisfaction of writing but there's also the cost, time that could be spent doing other things. Is a large readership important to you? What do you want your readers to gain from your efforts? Is earning important? There are no right or wrong answers but, as you've noted, you have no particular expertise in the areas you're planning on tackling so it's highly unlikely that your posts will go viral or make you a star. If that is fine by you then go for it. If you secretly harbour a need for people to "like" your content and post about how you've helped them etc then you may be better off looking at other ways to get that affirmation. Obviously, I don't know you so I'm just giving the same advice I'd give to anyone else - you need to do the soul searching to come up with the right path.
