This is not the main product page, we are launching a viral campaign to drive traffic to our normal website through this SEO optimized site. Its for an all natural depression treatment product. We are thinking [Company acronym]-NaturalDepressionTreatment.COM Is this a good method to use for an SEO traffic driving site? Should I use hyphens or anything in between the other words? Again I'm not expecting people to have to ever remember or type this domain, its purely an SEO tool.
Hey mate, "natural depression treatment" is a quality search term, however, it won't be an easy one to dominate. Apart from that, your idea for the domain name sounds pretty good. Just avoid hyphens and anything else. Also, put your main keyword in first place before your company's acronym. Cheers
thanks soneat. I know that they are hard keywords, however I'm hoping lower competition keyword terms will still recognize keywords that I have in the title (as low competition keyword terms use fragments of my suggested URL).. I'll just have to focus the general content on more low competition keywords I'll stick the company name on the backed too, thanks
Hello Boon 4376, The niche you have chosen is quite competitive especially toward UK market.Well your idea sound pretty good and no need to put any hypens as u may better know that a particualt kW in domain without hypens may makes ur website serach engine and user friendlY!!!
Hyphens won't necessarily affect SERPS, as long as a page is well optimized the hyphens will not have much of a negative effect. On that same note, the reason hyphens are not recommended is because it is much harder for people to remember. Not necessarily, my fiancees blog had hyphens in it and I got it indexed and ranked in SERPS in less than a week. IT is all in the QUALITY of the content and of the links. In a way I agree. I think it is kind of long.
for seo wise, domain name with keyword is great. if you want to add up the company acronym, then thats fine as well since you are not focusing on branding
Yeah! Definitely couldn't agree with you more.. Really, the only time your domain is not good, is if your website was based on the niche of chain-saws, and your domain name was associated with the porn industry, or the other way around.
