Is this a good result?

I have just started promoting a click bank product and here are my current stats:

125 Hops
2 sales
in 4 days

profit: $53.53


I have been doing both adwords and article writing. But I have only spent about $2.50 on adwords for 30 clicks.

is there a way to tell if the purchaser has come from adwords or an article?

A manual yet effective way to track your sales: Assuming you've used the CB analytics tools, click transactions, you'll see the times and location of where the person bought from.

If you have your own landing pages and have a statcounter on them, you can usually match up your sales. Since you are article marketing, and if you are pointing hops straight to the vendor without a lander, then yes use the TID feauture in your ads/articles. you can even have a different one within each new link/post/ad you make so you know exactly what converted.

2 sales in less than 150 hops is great, you found a good product. Now try your best over time to keep doubling efforts, so eventually you have 10 times your results, ever day (20 sales for 1500 hop=you are rich).

Sounds like good ROI to me! Use Clickbank's TID tracking tags to see where the sales come from. Create one affiliate link with a TID tag referencing Adwords and another affiliate link with a TID referencing articles.

Then when you get sales, look at the TID column and it will tell you where the sale came from!

Well It was a fairy tale start, but it hasnt continued, the traffic has, but the sales havnt.

Still only two sales and over 250 hops.

Will keep working, my ezine articles account got reinstated this morning.

These are some amazing results. I remember not seeing a single sale and spending over 800USD on adwords some time ago Great start, congrats. I would really like to know how you could get 30 leads for 2.5$ on adwords... was it like "i want to buy this blablabla product keyword" ?
