I got a quote today for an opt-in email send. the company sounds legit, however I wonder if there prices are competetive. They quoted me 900 dollars for 1,000,000 emails with garaunteed open rate of 30% or higher.
I don't know how legit it is but that sounds SUPER CHEAP for a legit list with a guaranteed open rate of 30% (how can they GUARANTEE that your email will be opened???) How many times per week do they send to that list? What kind of stuff usually gets sent? Where did they get that list? Will their emails get flagged as spam?
Run away and never look back. If they had a million name list that was getting 30% open rates they could be pulling 5 figures per mailing sending thier own promotions.
I am guessing that it would depend on your headline more than anything. That being said, in theory a 30% open rate really could be possible. any other thoughts?
Seriously how can they know that 30% will open it, I dount that is true, I say about 10-13% will open the mail and read it.
agreed. This definitely CANNOT be legit. Well but it's not too hard to fetch 1 million email addresses to send spam to Really that's impossible here!
