Hi, I am looking to create my business website with My product catalogue and Lotz of content and news about industry in general. I have been looking for Readymade templates but none satify my needs and Only CMS according to me capable enough is Joomla. Just as a thought Is it a good Idea to Create a website in form of blog. the main reason iis that my products available are needed to be changed frequently.Also I think blogs can get much better SEO results than the other . are there any good examples of Business site Developed in Blog??? If any one can help me it would be great. SO What should I Choose : Blog (USing Wordpress) or CMS + Shoping cart (Joomla or any other )
Your business site won't look very professional if you use joomla or wordpress. Create a custom site with a blog and a shop on the side. Blogs are not better for seo than other sites they just help you avoid the stupid mistakes that some web designers seem to make.
exactly, if u want a blog to go with your sites thats fine. the on page optimization is not any easier for blogs. I think that marketing a blog might in fact be much easier though. For instance my company's blog will be writing about health, travel and insurance. It should be much easier for me to attract links, and even readers with those topics. Anyhow i'm running that blog as an test to see if its actually worth it. If you website needs to be updated often you should set it up to be dynamic and use databases. Perhaps if your looking to make a serious website you should pay a designer to make our site.
