people are downloading a lot of appz etc on ddl sites etc. when you install a tool sometimes it ask if you want to install google search tool right? like into firefox etc. so if we make a tool, wth this tool we can insert a appz + google adsense search plugin for firefox with your pub in it so when people install a appz they will first be asked to install google search, say 10% will click on yes i am able to send download posts to 500 forums, i got last summer 50.000 unique visitors a day like this, so if i do this for a half year and a lot of people wll spread the download links too, i will earn a lot right? and is there someone who can make a tool like this?
If it was within the Adsense terms of service it would have been a good idea (and other people have likely tried something similar). The problem is that it is against the TOS and therefore not allowed.
if you dont know anything, then dont talk please, there is a big google search block in mozilla firefox, so its not forbidden
It is against TOS for individuals to do this... Google may have negotiated with FireFox and have a contract in place that permits them to do it (although I don't know if that is the case). The main thing is that individuals are not allowed to do it unless they get direct permission from Google... and the chance of being able to speak to the person who deals with advertising contracts within Google is virtually remote for any individual. Google would likely consider the request if you had 5million views per day or something equally as high, otherwise the best advice is not to do it as it is against TOS (it is written in the TOS that you can't put adsense in toolbar applications - or something along those lines).
Yeah I agree find yourself a better alternative like an affiliate program if you want to do something like that. PM me if you need ideas.
well i can bring 50.000 downloads to a tool, most of those are like nero/winrar tools/exe install in zip hosted on rapidshare if we can bring a affiliate program in it we can succes, i need a partner to do this who can help me to do that
I think you are not the first person to think about this. But the only problem is that it's against the TOS. And yup, Google does have business relationship with Mozilla. Mozilla gets 85 percent of its revenue from Google ($66.8 million in 2006). The latest Mozilla-Google contract expires in November 2008. I doubt if other affiliate programs do allow your idea either. But anyway, good luck if you could get it to work!
