I would just save the $10 and work on locating worth while marketing partners.

    I'll agree with that.

I read about this kind of marketing to get backlinks. You offer the name in exchange of a backlink. The Idea sound good but:
    - the new site will be a PR0
    - will not have pages indexed before long
    - may be totally irrelevant
    - ...
Also what can make the domain owner to fulfill his part?

For little money you can find on this forum good quality backlinks.

Do I understand right, you'd buy someone a domain in exchange they text link to your site? It could be very well worth it if they develop it into a website that people visit, and especially so if it's a complimentary topic to your site. But, you gotta realize that the vast majority of domains registered never get developed into successful sites.

Why not just buy the domain yourself and put an interesting site there? It seems like a lot less hassle.

I agree but i would be also placing google banner or atleast google text box on that sponsored domain site.

    What you think of that?

There's little point adding adsense if no ones going to click on it - unless you got a shit hot URL to get traffic. There's nothing there to make the search engines want to make you site a clickable entity.

I'd be very weary of putting my adsense on someone elses site. You are responsible for the code and if someone abuses it on their site your account will get suspended.

I think the idea is feasible when the site you are offering to sponsor a domain for is already established. The cost of registering a domain is relatively affordable these days and you can definitely get more value from advertising placed on the site you are sponsoring.

The site in question would be asked to remove your codes actually, and if it was really a major problem, you would be asked to remove that channel, but you would not risk your account, unless you were sitting there clicking your own ads, which we all know is a big no-no.

Thanx for clearing that out. Its excellent to know that placing ads of their site would not hurt me.
