Anything automated will run into problems. Most of the time your are just spamming sites. Best to use some semi-manual software where you can review the submission and customise it for each site before submitting. You will also have a better chance of it being accepted if the content is submitted in the correct format.

Blog commenting should just done manually. If you don't have anything worthwhile adding to the post then don't comment.

You need to write unique content if you want to get any decent results from SEO. Automated things like this will hurt you lin the long run.

I receive a lot of spam comments on my blog everyday and just send them to the trash. These spam generally comes from the automated software who can not really read what a blog post is all about and just submit the comment in whatever post they find easily. Using automated software for any submission is not recommended by any SEO professional as here you do not have command over the most appropriate category for your Article. This normally result in low approval rate. Since the most popular article directories do not accept articles in most generic category so they will simply reject your submission leaving you for manual submission.

To get maximum approval rate you should always do submissions manually, this way you can choose the most appropriate category using your common sense.

Depends on what you doing using Automatic softwares.

It you doing something which can be easily classified as spamming then it is not going to help.

there are number of software which does same thing in 2 ways one is spam and other is better way of doing it, and it is classified by just how you use it not be softwares.

Do not try to build links with software!! This is my suggestion. Well, if you want to get traffic, you can try email marketing. It's very efficient. You can use a software for email marketing. I am using iKode Newsletter Software now, and it brings 200+ traffic every day, quite impressive for me! if you are interested in this software, just google it! Hope to help you and your website!

Manually submission is the best technique for directory, article and commenting submissions

With directory submissions i think yes it is ok to use an automated software but for articles and blog commeting I think you really work hard on it manually for you get traffic.

@topic: There is no problem using those tools but you have to face the consequences when the moderators found you out. I say I still be on the manual posting/submitting side.

i think google not allowed the use any software to create link building and if google catch your hi must take a punishment and google block the google adsense id and stop the your site indexing and this reason your traffic are slow and i think if you should make better plain in seo field i recommend all work to manually

I use automated backlink building tools very effectively and have never had a website de-indexed from google. My rankings increase every month and i could not be happier with the results. When using this type of software, you must use highly spun articles, although you must ensure that your spun article is readable when spun (manually check it). You must also drip-feed the submission to around 10-20 submissions per day. The best software will allow you to spin the title, article and the signature of your submissions so you can rotate the links anchor text. Hope this helps.
