Is there Yahoo 'dance' ?

    As the title says, is there some thing called yahoo dance ? ( Inspired from google dance..) :(

    If not, i don't know what to call this phenomenon. :eek:
    SERPs for my newly inaugrated site changes every hour or so. moving from #6 to #22 then back to #6.

    I have another doubt about yahoo showing these results from different datacentres. I'm not sure about this. If anyone knows a tool that checks the different yahoo datacentres, please let me know.

    Yahoo does tend to update about once a month. It is possible during the update to see different results.

    Tha past few days I have seen some movement in Yahoo more than the normal 1-3 spots.

    Yahoo seems to be switching back and forth between two versions. On one version, one of our search terms, baby shower invitations, is number two, and on the second version, this search term is no where to be found!! This situation has been going on for about a month. I hope yahoo settles down with a final version soon!!

    Anyone else experiencing this situation?

    Yahoo's about overdue for a BIG update, isn't it?

    Yep! its the same thing happening to me too.

    I can see my site on #6 every morning ( GMT + 5.30 ) then in evening its gone up to #22.

    I went from #1 about 4 days ago to completely dropped off for my homepage. 3 of my deeper pages come up in top 50 and havent moved.

    2 nights ago I changed the title of my site...and the changes were refllected in yahoo yesterday...
    I got the desired result ...so far (knock wood)

    but also I was ranked # 12 for another term...extremely competitive...this morning it was gone

    easy come-easy go...

    Yahoo crawls my site about 4 times a day. I changed my title and some text on my homepage about 5 days ago and the changes have not yet shown up in yahoo.

    No, I am not listed in the yahoo directory. I am not sure if it will help increase rankings. Has anyone noticed an increase in their rank after getting listed in the yahoo directory?

    Maybe I should pay the $299 to see if it does.
