Yes, build a site, do keyword research and SEO, write articles, you will get good free targeted traffic this way
yes ... it is just random traffic ... random traffic is unlikely to get you sales ... no point having a million visitors if no-one buys, better to only have 1 visitor who does buy ... targeted traffic is what you seek
Article submissions and commenting on sites in the same niche as yours. As for the latter, it would be better to target these sites based also on whether they are "Do-Follow" sites or not.
using the traffic exchanges is good to get referrals on other traffic exchanges or similar stuff but I never got any sales for my clickbank products there
Blogging will bring you a lot of traffic as well. If you can make 3 posts per day, your traffic and sales should explode. Franck
