Someone send me an jpg image of my father. I'm not sure if its the recent one. I haven't talk to him since 2011. so I wanna know if the image was exactly how he was today.

I wanna know when the image was taken and which camera is it. is there a site that I can go to and could also determine such information?

You may know when a picture was taken (accurately) if it has not been edited. You may also see other camera settings. This is called exif data. Try this: exifdata.com

Yes, or it could mean it was last edited on that date.. It is possible that the photo was taken on an earlier date then have it edited like cropped, resized, etc. last March 27 2009... But at least you have an idea when the photo first existed

But since it doesn't have a device manufacturer and device model indicated, there is a huge possibility that it has been edited. Most photos directly uploaded on the computer contains a device manufacturer and model. Like for an instance, if I upload a photo from my Canon camera, it would indicate that it was taken from that particular camera. Hope this helps. ;)

I think it's a default feature. There will be an issue if the date is not set properly.

The uploader may edited or removed all properties that belongs to the images itself. About the date, maybe it's the date when he editing the image as well. The photo could be older than the date that shown. :) I think you might be able to compare your age to his looks.
