Is there still place for myspace resource sites?

    Hello

I bought punkprofile.com few days ago, and I was wanting to develop it, but as all of you know, there are tons of sites like this, myspace resource sites.
I was wondering if there is still place for 1 more.. :p

I don't want to have just a script on it, I'm thinking of getting custom layout made etc. so it looks 'atractive'.. like http://www.mrdoe.com/ ..

It's a very saturated market.. I don't want to be millionaire after few months..(well, I want it.. but I don't expect to be.)

What would be good advertising for this kind of sites?
Myspace bulletins? Link exchanges with other resource sites?

What works best? adsense/ypn or CPA like azoogle?

If you don't like to answer in public, feel free to PM me, or if you want to partner up with me. PM me.

    Thanks

I'm not really familiar with what ad networks that would work best for this (although I know of someone using YPN with a MySpace related website, and they've been doing great), but I will give you some words of encouragement. It is definitely a saturated 'market', but I think you can distinguish yourself if you have a decent domain, a simple website (remember people using resources from these types of websites generally aren't the most web savvy) unique content, and not over advertised (ie: there really is no need to have 10 pop unders when a user enters/leaves the website). But none the less, I do wish you the best of luck.

there is just so many out their already mate. i think the market is too saturated, if you was to start the site 2 years ago, you could have made a lot of money from the idea, but imo, the market is too saturated.

    good luck with it though!

MySpace is definitely growing and there may demands for MySpace Resource Sites. I believe that if you do not just offer what everyone else offers, ie have themes and resources which are vastly unique and different from others, you will have a better chance of surviving in this competitive market.

If what you are offering comes from the basic turnkeys which are already in the market, it may not appeal to the masses.

It is a saturated market but it all depends on what you offer and how you market it.
