Is there something wrong with my site, please review

Hello All,

I have been adding to my website on a daily basis and some days I see anywhere from 5 to 20 visitors. Some days though I may only see 1 to 5. I have been getting a good bit of traffic from google, but it seems like most people do not stay on my site for very long. Can anyone tell me why this is? Is it the layout or the design of the site. I believe that I have good quality content and i keep writing articles to keep people coming back to my site. I am willing to redesign my site layout and such if it would help. I would love to have more traffic, but I would also be happy if traffic from google stayed on my site for longer, it just seems like I get a lot of people that bounce from my site as soon as they see it.

I think you could do with a new template, maybe get a free template from somewhere thats more computer related, there are some amazing free ones on the web that will give your site a whole new look, secondly the template might not be the main problem with the site, to get traffic you must offer something unique on your site and hope people will link to your site getting you traffic or you dedicate lots of your time on your websites SERP's then get traffic.

 

To make the site better you should do the following things:

- Get a more professional template.

- Get a logo.

- Add some images to the site.

 

The site is quite bland. Your site has to do with computers. You should display your knowledge with a great site. I would find a template and creates for yourself a logo and an interesting header with some graphics. Try to be consistent with the layout. Some pages have right aligned text others are centred or right aligned.

I agree on the font sizes - too big. It looks like you have lots of good content on your site. But, arriving at the home page, it seemed like I was on a secondary page. Beef up the logo/branding/intro type of stuff on that page, then have a link to a page of articles that you now have on the home page. Maybe one or two as a latest article or new article type of thing, but then direct visitors to another page for full article and more choices. Best wishes for more visitors and customers!

 

I agree with some of the other statements. Way too bland. I went to the site and didn't even want to read anything. It's just way too bland.

you have to make website using good and fresh template..
this is soooo simple

 

Couple things real quick:

1. Get rid of italics, too hard to read quickly
2. Get a template, changes sites design quick and easy OR change heading, rework the style sheet
3. Lose the chitika inline ads, looks horrible ..
4. Googles site descriptiong starts off with Custom Computer Building, if you aren't going to build me a computer, I'm leaving the site
5. Add some Videos. If you want this to be a DIY site, then SHOW me what to do, don't tell me. Make some vids that show you actually installing a motherboard so I can see what to do
6. Put a nice big banner ad up top where u have google now -- and send traffic to a company that makes custom built computers for people
