godaddy's website tonight is slow to me. But I need something to help me build a website. I don't know coding. and I need cheap or free hosting. Can I also get all of that without ads? Help me find all of this please.
Almost all the site builder type of things create really ugly pages and take forever. Even something as bad as FrontPage is better than those. If you a serious about your site I would avoid free hosts.
If your website can look like a blog then you could use blogger.com . In the over hand, you can look for a cheap web hosting and install any of free CMS, there are lots of descriptions and lessons how to do that, just use google and find your best.
Yeah please do not use Website tonight. I have never seen a person run a successful website from it. Spend some extra and get a wordpress cms set up and from there you should be able to teach yourself some basics and get a better website going.
One of my sites is a website tonight site.. it is slow to build but it opens up quickly for the viewer. It's also ranked on the first page of google for my key words and gets decent traffic. I am sure that there are other options out there that are much better though.
You should look for a host which supports Fantastico-De-Luxe. There is nothing easier than installing a pre-made script using that program. You don't need to have any previous experience coding. I created insideWebmaster in literally minutes using this program. After Fantastico installed Wordpress for me, I just threw on a free template and was finished. Seriously. If you want to create a webpage without any real coding knowledge, look into this program and then find a web host that supports it.
I never could get use to those big ugly godaddy ads jumping out at me on my own page. Made me flinch when the page opened.
I have CrystalTech.com. They are in the U.S., they are cheap, good, fast, and you can get tech support on the phone!
Hi there I would suggest you spend time on Joomla or Wordpress (If you need to make a blog). They are very good platforms and you need not have any coding knowledge. Once you get the basis you easily add high end functionalities using additional mods. All the best !!
