Just want know if there is a software or web link which tells you, which directory your site is listed.
Sorry - haven't seen anything that searches just directories for a particular URL; a few persons that I know usually kept track of that sort of thing themselves.
Pretty much the only way I can see it is to use the following in Yahoo, and see what comes up; linkdomain:yourwebsite -site:yourwebsite Alternativelt you could use a reciprocal link checker and put in the directories you think you should have a link from.
If it's your own site, it's better to download your links from Google Webmaster Tools and Yahoo Site Explorer. It shouldn't be very difficult to identify the links. Some tools like digixmas have a feature of 'testing links', I don't know how good they are or whether the feature works with custom list.
webmaster's tools https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/home?hl=en is the best one but it takes some time for google to see those links and then report them
That would be good idea but that directories list must be at least 50,000 to cover every possible directory But GWT want select and separate for you directories from just links to your site. fastreplies
So there is no software exist but google and yahoo can be used for indication only and time consuming.
So what is your solution ? its the most complete way I know ... and I think its easy to go through the list or create a script that compares it with a list of directories ...
The best way to check the listing of your website is through backlink checker. http://www.backlinkwatch.com/
sorry, I have not seen yet any software which directory listed your website... but if you want to try than use backlink watcher, you will get exactly idea that webdirectory listed your website or not..
If you are using DigiXMAS they have a feature where they report every directory you submitted to was approved or rejected.
Do I hear some fucking echo in this thread? @jitendraa just said that @Chios My solution is to keep track of directories to which I have submitted sites. It gives me an opportunity to go back now and then and to check if site is still listed fastreplies
