Is there really such thing as Adsense Blindness?

Honestly, I'm not so sure if there is such thing as Adsense blindness. A lot of times when I leave a website without clicking on their ads isn't because I didn't read their ads. It's because I didn't find any of their ads interesting. Most of the time I actually do read their ads no matter how they're placed or what colors they are. If the ad seems like something that can help me out I will definitely click on it. You also have to remember that many people are sympathetic toward advertisers so they're not going to click on something simply to click on it.

It all just becomes junk in my peripheral vision. I know it's there, I just don't care.

 

Yes, I do not look at ads. I know they are not related to the site content and from experience they do not help because content ads are not that specific to the content.

There are ads on DigitalPoint, but I don't remember the last time I saw them. They are probably in this thread though. I will have a look after I finish this message.

There definitely is. I don't waste time reading ads, they never lead me to any useful content.
