I used to do a lot with Commission Junction back in the days and have recently signed up. I was surprised that there is no CPM based ads anymore. Does no one pay based on performance of views of their ads anymore? I contacted CJ about it and they said they didn't have any, and I was wondering if anyone knew other companies that might be doing it? The site I would like to put this into has about 4500 unique views per day.
I think that advertisers do not like CPM, because you pay basicly for nothing. With CPC you may be sure you get a visitor for your money, with CPA you only pay for lead / sale. Advertisers earn from sales, so they prefer CPA (or CPC) to be sure they don't pay for nothing. I didn't see any CPM campaigns last few months also.
This global crisis has been affecting every economy aspect in the world, advertiser were cutting their ads budget. and like RedDemon said "basically you pay for nothing"
That is good traffic. CPM is a waste of good space for less money. If that traffic is targeted, why not get into affiliate marketing with a specific product line and make some real money off of it?
Casalemedia.com, Clicksor.com, Tarsus-media.com, Tribalfusion.com, Valueclickmedia.com are some of the rare survivals.
I tried joining slow motion, it told me my captcha was wrong 37 times in a row. GOD! I know I entered it right...
On A Side Note I would recommend http://freekii.com for the CPC network, but I think http://cpmads.org/ does CPM at $0.03 - $0.10 per 1000...
