Is there no free WHMCS alternative?

    All I want is something that can automate the creation of WHM accounts, and take PayPal payments. Do I reeeeeeeeeeealy need to pay for WHMCS?

    if you do a quick google search there are plenty of scripts that will create WHM accounts

    here are a couple:
    vhcs.net
    phpcoin.com


    there are alot of free ones. specially if your using Cpanel/WHM

    phpCoin is a buggy script. Design is total crap. VHCS looks very nice! I will use that in the future.

    Hmm. I have WHM/cPanel already (reseller account). I was looking for a WHMCS replacement, not a WHM/cP replacement. I don't get root access, you see.

    I am unsure if PHPCoin is unavailable still, as their lead developer unfortunately passed away battling cancer (Located in this thread: http://forums.phpcoin.com/index.php?showtopic=3087)

    Someone I know couldn't get a license at the time, because of the unfortunate event.

    Just FYI.

    I don't know if they still aren't accepting any more clients.

    Accountlab Plus has been made open source by the netenberg. You may want to check that, it is not that rich like WHMCS, but it is nice one overall.

    I agree. If you're not willing to pay for WHMCS, then Accountlab is your best choice.

    WHMCS is worth paying for though...

    nowadays, most reseller hosting come with the WHMCS software. Some may bundled with ClientExec depending on the company you signed up with. There is no ongoing monthly cost incurred.

    I use Account Lab Plus and I m pretty satisfied.You can install some other MySQL,php software for support tickets cause ticket system is kinda bad looking.
