I would not say so, for the time it takes i believe you could easily use the time more effectively and efficiently to make more money than what you would make in surveys. Will.
I was aghast when one online ad says "earn 3,500 dollars relaxing at your home" filling out survey forms.
Just don't ever pay to join a survey site. There are several free ones that can let you earn some money or prizes. Lightspeed is one that comes to mind. Take everything with a grain of salt though, and don't expect to do it as anything more than a basic hobby (since they're easy to fill out). You might also have issues if you aren't an in demand demographic.
Most surveys are just scam. Some are legit but they only pay less then $1 per hour, in reality. But in on their site and in their ads, they give thousands of dollars each day If you are looking to work online then try your luck at freelancing sites
