Or we're gonna have to register domain names like youtube/gmail usernames with random numbers, x's and other unsensible stuff? Right now it seems to me like all sensible names are taken. Usually not even by some active site, but they're sedoparked. I checked wiki, and there seems to be many new extensions, like .coop, but they're not for general useage. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Generic_top-level_domain What do you think of this? If there would be new gTLD, what would you like it to be?
There will probably be more gTLDs but .com will for ever be most popular and people will resell them, it is rare to build a popular site on something else than .com
I guess new gTLDs will keep coming out... at regular intervals, as they have become a good interest/revenue generator for all. The ultimate goal for big companies would be to have their own brand name as a tld! Regards, RightMan
