Is there cigarette addicted DP members?

I smoke a lot. I try to smoke less tar and nicotine cigarettes. 0.2/2mg per cigarette. Smoking for about 10-15 years. Strong, short espresso is my second bad everyday addiction.

But, I try to have sport activities everyday.

    Smoker? Any?

    <--------------------------Big time smoker ;)

3-4 packs a day minimum, I did cut down though from my 5-6 packs a day when I was younger so I'm feeling a bit better.

    WOW!!! ... I used to smoke 1 to 2 packs a day but I quit when I was 19 or 20.

You better take a lot more of your herbal remedies to counter act the damage you are doing.

I smoke 2 packs a day (imported from Poland;) ) and have been smoking for 33 years.......
I'm 43 now and just starting to feel the effects [IMG]

Perhaps you should ban smoking in the dp forums.

Zyban and you have to WANT to quit, all the patches, pills, and lozenges in the world will not make a difference if you don't truly want to quit! Period...

I tried quitting several times before and failed because I still wanted them. Even now, every once in awhile I still want one, but, I read the average craving lasts 3 minutes, I fight it for that long, by getting a glass of water or something and wham bam it goes away :)

Holy crap! Are you one of those people who's always got one going?

Good thing you don't live in New York, that habit would cost you $18 to $20 PER DAY.

    I spoke about 3/4 of a pack a day.

Not all the time but close to it, no smoking in my Mazda. I can handle driving and not smoking w/o any problem.

Gone through about 2 1/2 packs so far today and it's not even noon. My wife did smoke probally 1/2 a pack or so out of those though

I smoke 2-3 packages and without exercise and healthy food I could not even think on cigars. Right now I smoke and drinking nice turkish coffee. I enjoy it!

I used to have that outlook, the "You have to die from something, you might as well enjoy it." Then I saw my uncle with lung cancer, somehow the "glamour" of it all went away...

Everything is jing-jang. Japan is first in long living and first in smoking. If you smoke then do something opposite. Btw, my father is also..
