I was using adbrite for a while and a feature I liked with them was you could chosse which ads show on your site, is it possible to do this with Google? So I wont have to show crap ads and have better paying ads.

also could you tell me if the ads on my site are placed in the best position to max adsense revenue!

    Thanks

You can filter ads and could put the one ad unit on left hand side in between posts instead of on side to increase clicks.

Having the website working would be a start in increasing revenue. Traffic is the key, traffic traffic traffic, more traffic the more traffic the greater the chance someone is going to click your advertisement. Adsense is not the only source to gain income from your website, use affiliate and even sell some advertising on your own or atleast make it available to people viewing your website who may want to advertise on it.
