Is there anyway to bring data out of a broken CD

    I just sat on a CD kept on my chair and broke it. Which contained important data. Anyway to bring it out ? ? ? ? :( :(

    if you do a search on google there are companys that can recover data from broken CDs but it is not cheap. I think it was $900 last time I used it.

    I don't think this one can bring you the data 100% to its original form. SO i think there is no option left than to search for a second backup copy. Or if you have deleted the data from the hard disk after copying into the CD, you can try recovering the harddisk data.

    The CD I sent was broke into two pieces and they recovered 100% of the data that was on it.

    Recovering the data is possible but there is a slim chance that you can recover 100% of it. Goodluck mate! :D
