Im not using IE6, but in one month... 17,575 people from 108,275 visits my sites using IE6 means that there are still many people using this browser. you must consider to build the site and test it with IE6.
Nope.. im not at all using IE. In fact, i never used IE... I use firefox and i love chrome web browser.
I have been using FireFox for a long time, about 3-4 years. I do use IE sometimes for specific purposes, e.g: testing compatibility of pages I code (rarely happens), using IE as an alternative when my FireFox plays dirty with me(rarely happens aswell).
IE6 is still used a lot in companies or organisations that have central IT control. For example my company conducts security and compatibility tests on new OSes and browsers before allowing them to be installed on worker's PCs. For these reasons at least, Windows XP and IE6 are still very common.
I still use it. I have installed IE7 elsewhere, but I didn't bother on my main work machine. I hate IE7, I can't stand it and rarely if ever use it, except for testing. I never did mind IE6 that much, at least not when it came to using it. Designing for it, of course, is another matter.
I have been using IE6 forever with no problems but I recently installed FireFox and the profile pages on my site do not display properly in Firefox. Can someone tell me if they see a lot of white space on the profile pages in Firefox? My site functions perfectly in IE. Here is my site: http://www.inmate-connection.com Thanks.
I am a web developer. Hence, I test my websites in IE 6, 7, 8, Firefox, Safari and Opera before deployment. However, for my internet surfing I use Firefox only. It is the best.
I have Internet explorer 6 in my computer with Windows XP . I use Firefox for browsing and IE 6 for testing template/theme issues .
I dont use it myself, I have IE8, however I do know for sure that a lot of people do use it, as on my site I have wassup, which is a hit counter for wordpress, and about 1/2 my hits were from IE6, so its unfortunately not extinct yet.
well i use opera as my primary browser firefox as secondary i.e 6 as third and tried using chrome, it turned out to be more memory hog than the rest, so ended up uninstalling it.
