Is there anyone out there doing this ? ? ? What's that you say . . . Is there anyone out there writing and selling there own eBooks and Information products. Really would like to know how you are doing !!!! Is writing and publishing the way to go . . . or is there something better ??? Be seeing you.
Of course there is. The ebook market is insanely saturated.. WAY too saturated.. Check the buy/sell/trade forum of digitalpoint and you'll see many members writing and selling ebooks.
With e-books, it depends on how well you market yourself, as well as the content of your e-book. There are tons of people selling e-books in the market. If you market yourself well, you can even convert a non believing customer into a paying one.
The time has changed, ebook now is widely spread as a means of promoting and not for sale. That's why most of them now free, except you can create a very special and specifict ebook. Nic
Totally agree with you there. My suggestions would be to get a site, post your content on there. Get a lot of traffic. Set up affiliate links, and do link exchanges. Sell ad space on your site. If your interested in making a quick dollar then contact me. Thanks
You could make a nice pocket of change by writing up an e-book and selling it on DP. The most wanted types of e-books are money making e-books. Even though the whole B/S/T section is filled with them. But then again, someone is always hoping to trip over the "working" one. The best e-books are those that are unique and think out side the box. And never undersell your e-book. I personally never buy e-book that is $7 or even $20, since to me, it pretty much means that's how much it is actually worth. If your e-book is worth $300, then sell it for $300, no reason to undermine the content of the e-book.
It's hard to sell anything online. Ebook or Not. At the end of the day, you have to convince people to trust you and that they need what you have. Master that and an ebook or whatever else you want to do will work
Never put more effort into an ebook than you can get back with the first sale. You must count on your ebook being pirated & realize there is absolutely nothing you can do about it which isn't going to take more effort than it's worth. If the first sale pays for the effort put into the ebook, everything else is profit & you can move on.
Wow . . . Now theres a thing !!! Being able to convert non beleivers into buying customers. I find it takes a lot of persuasion to get interested buyers to buy, never mind non beleivers. There is a whole lot of people out there that think . . . eBooks are a rip off, a waste of money, too expensive, from the landof scam. It is a shame that so many out there seem to overlook the vast potential that a good how-to information eBook offers. Be seeing you.
Hi . . . hello Rich Thanks for your response. I agree totally with what you say. I think too many eBook sellers dont realise the true value of their information products, and offer them for sale a low, low, almost giveaway prices. Just one thing Rich . . . What good eBooks have you read (bought) recently. I would really be interested to know, and you can PM me on this if you prefer. Be seeing you.
