Is there any way to work with My Home PC from another country?

    Hi

am gonna travel to canada the next Month, i need a way to work on my Home PC from there and i mean 100% access, the most important thing that i really need is:

    - work with Internet explorer from My home pc (access websites with the ip of my home pc not the ip of the hotel when i'll stay)

Anyone have an idea/software/script for me? i heard about gotomypc but am not sure if it will use my "home pc internet connexion / IP " to browse the web.

    thanks!

We use different electrical plugs so I'm not too sure about this... (so you can't bring your PC here! lol)

Are you wanting to access your PC files from home from another country?

For programs... www.mypc.com may work for you. To access your france IP at another country.. not sure if this is possible since you'll need to connect to the internet from France!

GotoMyPC is your best solution. If you launch your browser on your host computer (ie your pc at home), you'll obviously be coming from that address. The other option is remote desktop (RDP) if you can access your PC from the internet (ie you're on a public IP or you have a VPN).

    Bonjour :)

Why don't use VNC, this is the most simple way.

    Regards

Set up a VPN connection to ur system. That would make it seem as if all traffic is coming from ur Home PC Network(should see the same public IP).

another option is PC Anywhere by Norton. heard its really good... never used it though...
