Just wondering if there is any way to tell if I have a sitemap. I don't have access to changing anything on my site other then creation of new pages and editing the text and pictures in the body. I just recently had to get my provider to put some meta tags on. Any help will be appreciated.

YES there is a simple way to tell
you have a sitemap if YOU created one
no one else does it for you unless you have CMS that has sitemap creation built in

What do you use? If you use wordpress, you will definitely can see them on the page you set them up.

I don't use anything. I use the "backend" that I sign into to control the text and stuff that appears in the body. I have no control over the servers or head section or anything. Is there a way of checking to see if I have a site map?

you would only have one if you created a sitemap.. and even if you do not have the full server control you should have at least a FTP? unless the site isnt owned by you.

    Go here and "create" one
    http://www.xml-sitemaps.com/

THEN save it to your pc

THEN upload it to your site

Once you "create" a sitemap and "add" it to your site

    THEN

you can type in your domain name ie. www.mydomain.com/sitemap.xml and you shoud see it.
