Is there any way to send an invoice for digital goods?

It seems like no matter what I do for my invoices, there is no way to make one that doesn't need to be "shipped" even if I am selling a digital service with no shipping price or tax on it.

Is there any way to do this sort of thing? I need to be able to make something like an invoice that I can send to people so they can pay, because a lot of the time, if I just have them send me the payment, they won't mark it as "doesn't need to be shipped", which is worrisome for me because then paypal prompts me to ship and item that I can't ship and they already received.

Not sure if this is exactly what you are looking for but I use it all the time and it's free.

You can send an invoice straight out of Paypal. Just specify its for a service related matter and you are all set. I do it daily.
