Is there any way to remove somebody's inappropriate reply to a tread?

    I had created a simple thread asking a question in which someone has replied with a rude inappropriate reply, is there any way i could remove their post or the thread itself? thank you

    One way would be to hire a lawyer to pursue a court order to remove the post. Or, just forget about it.

    The second option is probably better. :)

    You can click on the report button. If a person is overly rude, chances are they could quality for flaming. This is not a community of anger, it's for business. I've seen many such posts violate ToS in areas that are less noticed and have more grey areas. When you a report a post, a moderator or admin will review it, and if it's bad enough they will do something about it. Just don't abuse the feature, don't wine. Just make it short and simple. User is flaming.
    If nothing else, it's helpful for the staff, when not violating ToS they will often give them infractions, and warnings so they do not do it again, and maybe go back and edit their posts. This prevents them from being able to go around all over the place doing it to everyone. However, if you are just complaining about everything that doesn't make you smell like roses, you might end up with infractions yourself, so just remember to breathe, and think about things logically when in conflict.
