i had a page, www.pueblonuevomexico.com that was hosted on tierra net. i took down the page, and when you go to that page it is unavailable. but when you type it in google the text from that page shows up in the header. now when you click the link from google, you go to the tierra hosted page, and the site is down. but from google, the heading text sill appears.

is there a way to purge this information so that anything dealing with that web site no longer exists?

I think what you are after is making it so it is not indexed.

You can tell the bots not to index it in your robots.txt or in your <head> tags

But it will take awhile for the page to go away. But it will eventually.
